Nice photo shoot
Treat yourself to a photo shoot in Nice, France with a local photographer, in the most iconic city on the French Riviera.
Known the world over, Nice is the most emblematic French city for foreign travelers after Paris. It's the great image of the French Riviera, the one you imagine before you even get there: the light on the bay, the sparkling sea, the palm trees, the colorful facades, an ice cream sipped quietly by the Mediterranean, the elegance of the Promenade des Anglais and the special energy of the south. Nice has that rare charm of being both glamorous and simple, refined and lively, with a beautiful blend of Italian gentility, Mediterranean ambience and Provencal soul.
It's also what makes the city so beautiful to photograph. Between the Cours Saleya and its southern-colored market, the narrow streets of Vieux-Nice, the Quai Rauba Capeu, the Promenade des Anglais and the open views over the bay, Nice offers much more than just a pretty backdrop. It gives an atmosphere, a feeling of vacation, sun, Riviera, with something deeply iconic and yet very warm.

A private and exclusive photo session with a Nice-born photographer
I'm a photographer from Nice, born in Nice, and this city has always been a part of me. I grew up with its light, its sea, its colors, its alleys and its special energy. Nice isn't just a place where I work: it's a city I know deeply, that I've wandered around for years, and where I know the moods, the best moments of the day and the places that really work for a photo shoot.
It's this local perspective that makes all the difference. A great photo shoot in Nice isn't just about enjoying a pretty backdrop facing the sea. What interests me is using this postcard setting to enhance your images, while showcasing you to your best advantage, with naturalness, elegance and accuracy. Nice is an iconic city, known the world over and an absolute symbol of the French Riviera, but it also has a more subtle, intimate and authentic soul that I like to bring out in my photo shoots.
During the session, I gently guide you so that you feel at ease in front of the lens, even if you're not used to being photographed. My approach remains simple and natural: I help you find the right gestures, the right placements and the most beautiful lighting, while leaving room for your personality and energy. I want you to have a great time, not just walk away with some pretty pictures.
Within 48 hours, you'll receive a private gallery to select your 20 favorite photos, with the option of downloading all of them.
The photo session can be conducted in either French or English. My aim is that you feel at ease from start to finish, that you really enjoy this interlude in Nice, and that you leave with memories as beautiful as they are heartfelt in the iconic city of the French Riviera.

Photographer in Nice on the French Riviera
A true knowledge of Nice and its most beautiful scenery
Because I was born here, I know Nice well beyond its most famous landmarks. Of course, the Promenade des Anglais, the bay, Vieux-Nice and the hill of the Château are all part of the city's identity. But I also know the moods, the lights, the quieter moments, the most harmonious perspectives and the places that give photos real character without making them too touristy. This local knowledge allows me to build a much more coherent and beautiful session.
A light I know by heart
Nice is a city of light. It changes enormously depending on the time of day, the season and the neighborhood you're in. In the morning, it can be very soft and elegant. At the end of the day, it becomes warmer and more golden, giving the sea and the facades a very special glow. Because I've always known Nice, I know when certain places become the most beautiful, and that's what makes for truly refined images.
Photos that go beyond the simple postcard
Nice is one of France's most emblematic cities for foreign travelers, arguably the most iconic after Paris, and the very image of the French Riviera around the world. But a photo shoot in Nice can be much more than a postcard souvenir. My aim is to capture all that iconic beauty, while creating images that are more personal, more embodied, more real, with that unique blend of sea, light, Mediterranean elegance, Italian influences and Provencal gentleness.
A session designed as a true local experience
For me, a photo session in Nice should also be a moment to be lived to the full. Whether you're a couple, a family, a solo, a group of friends or just passing through the French Riviera, I like this session to feel like a real interlude in the city. A walk guided by someone who knows Nice by heart, who knows how to show it in a different way, and who wants to leave you with memories that are as beautiful as they are sincere.

FAQ - Your questions about a photo shoot in Nice
What is the ideal length of a photo shoot in Nice?
Each format has its advantages, and whatever you choose, we'll create beautiful images together. Above all, it all depends on the experience you want to have. The more time you have, the more variety, breathing space and freedom the session can offer.
1-hour session Intense and radiant. It's a great format for enjoying Nice without rushing, and already creating a rich, elegant gallery. It allows you to capture the essential with great energy, in one or more atmospheres depending on the pace of the session and the locations chosen. It's a very pleasant length for couples, families or travelers who want beautiful images without necessarily planning a long interlude.
1h30 session : A serene interlude. It's my favorite format for more freedom. That extra 30 minutes brings even more comfort. It's often the format I recommend when you want to get more out of the city, explore different settings and glide smoothly from one atmosphere to another (for example, going from the Place Masséna to Castle Hill with its superb view from the Bellanda Tower) without ever looking at the clock. We vary the angles, have more fun, and the result is even richer and more varied.
2-hour session : The total Riviera experience. Here, nothing is too much trouble! It's the luxury format that allows you to fully explore the jewels of Nice. You can take the time to explore several facets of the city, move from the seaside to the old town, incorporate a more iconic view of the bay, plan a change of outfit if you wish, and above all enjoy the session much more freely. It's the perfect format for those who want a more generous, varied and very elegant photo walk, with all the visual richness of Nice.
Is Nice a good location for a photo shoot with children?
Yes, very. In fact, it's one of the simplest towns on the French Riviera, along with Menton, to visit with the whole family, because you can enjoy beautiful scenery without the physical exertion required by certain hilltop villages. The seafront, long promenades, some gardens and a few more open neighborhoods make the experience much smoother with children.
It's also a city where you can keep something very elegant without the session being complicated to live in. For a family, it's often a good balance between light, ease and a true French Riviera identity.
Is it possible to take pregnancy photos in Nice?
Nice is one of the towns I find most comfortable for this type of session on the French Riviera. You still have the sea, the light and a very elegant setting, but without the stairs or the relief of some of the more perched villages like Eze. This makes for a much gentler, simpler session, while retaining a superb setting.
Does Nice appeal to an international clientele?
Yes, totally. Nice is one of France's best-known international cities after Paris, and a large proportion of my customers travel to the French Riviera from abroad. It's a very cosmopolitan, very accessible city, and its image immediately speaks to visitors from all over the world.
I regularly work with customers from the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Europe and Asia, particularly Japan. French is my mother tongue, I speak English on a daily basis with my international customers, and I can also communicate in Italian if necessary.
Is there a more beautiful time than another for a photo shoot in Nice?
Yes, and it really changes the mood of the photos. In the morning, Nice is very bright, with lots of sunshine, a very blue sea and colors that stand out more. The whole effect is very fresh, very holiday-like, very French Riviera. It's a moment I often recommend for families, but also for couples who like bright, colorful images full of life.
At the end of the day, the atmosphere becomes softer, more hushed, more elegant. The light envelops the bay more, the city takes on a more romantic tone, and the images often become more subtle and refined. It's a great choice for wedding proposals, or for couples looking for something more intimate, chic and sensitive.
In the end, it all depends on the mood you like, the time of year and the type of session. Nice is beautiful all day long, but the light really changes the style of the images.
Can we integrate a hotel or private venue into the session?
Yes, depending on the location and your situation. If you're staying in a beautiful hotel or a place with a strong identity, like the Hôtel du Couvent, this can be a great way to give your session an even more personal dimension. Some establishments are more than happy to accept a few photos for their guests, while others require more discretion or prior agreement.
The easiest way is always to talk to me beforehand. Nice already offers a lot of outdoor possibilities, but when a private location brings something really coherent to the session, it can be very nice to integrate it.
When do we receive the photos?
The gallery is delivered quickly, within 48 hours, so you can get back to your images while the memory of the moment is still very much alive. This is something I'm particularly keen on, especially when you're on a trip to the French Riviera and want to relive the session or share a few images with your loved ones without waiting too long.
You'll receive a private online gallery to make your selection, with the option of going further if you'd like to keep more images of this interlude in Nice.

Nice: a life-size postcard for your photo shoot on the French Riviera
Choosing Nice for your photo shoot is the perfect marriage between the elegance of a cosmopolitan capital and the authentic charm of a village in the South of France. Known the world over for its unique light, which has inspired the greatest painters, the French Riviera city offers an unrivalled diversity of backdrops.
Here, every street corner tells a story. In just a few steps, we move from the timeless luxury of the Promenade des Anglais, lined with palm trees and Belle Époque facades, to the Provencal bustle of the Cours Saleya market. It's this balance between "Riviera Chic" and the gentle Mediterranean lifestyle that will make your memories so special.
Nice, France, one city, a thousand atmospheres: my favourite places
Local photographer born in Nice, I like to explore the visual richness of my city to vary the atmospheres during our session:
Old Nice & Cours Saleya : It's the beating heart of the city. It's a great place to lose yourself and capture the soul of Provence: saffron facades, blue shutters and the bustle of the flower market. It's the ideal place for warm, authentic and vibrant shots.
Place Masséna: With its iconic checkerboard paving, red arcades and monumental statues, it's the ideal spot for more graphic, modern and resolutely "haute couture" shots.
La Colline du Château : This is where we capture the most famous view of the French Riviera. Overlooking the perfect curve of the Baie des Anges and the red-tiled roofs, it's a grand and timeless backdrop.
The Promenade des Anglais: A worldwide symbol of the Riviera. With its majestic palm trees, mythical blue chairs and Belle Époque architecture such as the emblematic Negresco, it offers an airy, luxurious and timeless setting.
Port Lympia: My personal favorite for a chic maritime atmosphere. The "pointus" (colorful traditional boats) moored at the foot of the Genoese buildings bring a palette of color and texture you won't find anywhere else.
Whether you're just passing through for a romantic weekend or want to immortalize your family vacation, Nice offers a prestigious, sunny setting for photos that reflect your personality.

Looking for a different setting on the Côte d'Azur?
Nice is an absolutely magical location for a photo shoot, but the French Riviera also offers other very special places, each with a different atmosphere. Depending on your story, the style of images you like and the experience you want to have, it can sometimes be even more right to choose another town or village.
Menton, my favorite place on the French Riviera
If there's one city I recommend very often, it's Menton. Along with Èze, it's one of the most beautiful places on the French Riviera for a photo shoot. Maybe I'm not totally objective because I live there, but I love its gentle way of life, its light, its colors, its charm between France and Italy and that dolce vita atmosphere you feel right away.
Menton works wonderfully well for everything: couples, families, pregnancies, romantic trips, honeymoons, vacation memories. The town is much smaller than Nice. It's softer to walk around, closer to the sea, very colorful, very bright, and it retains a deeply romantic side. It's really a safe bet, and I sincerely think you'll love it.
Villefranche-sur-Mer, for the mildness of the bay
Villefranche-sur-Mer is a great choice if you like waterside villages, colorful facades and a softer, more intimate, Mediterranean atmosphere. The harbor, the port, the narrow streets and the light on the sea give the session a lot of charm.
It's a place I often recommend for families, but also for couples looking for something very Riviera, with a real French Riviera vacation feel.
Antibes, for authenticity and character
Antibes can also be a great alternative if you like places with character. Between the ramparts, the old town of Antibes, the narrow streets, the port and the sea, the town offers something more authentic, more lively, with a real southern French charm.
It's an excellent choice for those seeking a more Provençal, textured atmosphere, with a little less of the “big city” postcard feel than Nice.
The most beautiful place is the one that looks like you
The most important thing is not to choose the best-known city, but the one that best suits your project. A romantic atmosphere, a more family-oriented session, an easy-to-navigate location, a more colorful, authentic or iconic setting: every city on the French Riviera has its own personality. If you're not sure, I'll be delighted to guide you to the location that will best enhance your story.

Book your photo session in Nice

An initial message is also always welcome when you prefer to take the time to talk things over before making up your mind. Location, atmosphere, time of day, type of session, style of images... a few minutes' discussion is often enough to clarify what will suit you best and build something more personal.
It will be a real pleasure to discover your idea, to advise you if need be and to imagine with you a photo shoot that has meaning, charm and a real coherence with your story on the French Riviera.
