Just one year ago, Élodie and Alexandre got married for the rest of their lives. They chose for their wedding a unique place, the Bastide Saint-Julien, in the Var.

We met in the Var for an explosive engagement shoot! Élodie and Alexandre travel the world to indulge their passion for sport, and triathlon in particular. Naturally, I chose to focus the shoot on their shared passion.

The shoot takes place like a sports session. On the program, a little running, warm-ups and stretching. They feel at ease and their complicity is revealed. Amidst the giggles, I capture the beautiful moments of sharing and love that explode within them.

A wedding at the Bastide Saint Julien

A few weeks later, we met at the Bastide Saint-Julien, in the center of the Provence. Élodie and Alexandre live in Switzerland. Charmed by the mild Provencal climate, they chose to celebrate their union in this magnificent location, a blend of modernity and authenticity. Just like their engagement session, they will be celebrating their wedding with a triathlon theme.

As I arrive at the site, preparations are slowly getting underway in a very serene atmosphere. The bastide offers a magnificent view of the Loube massif. It exudes an enchanting atmosphere, blending the charm of the vineyards with the contemporary.

From room to room, I make my way around the immense mansion to capture the precious moments of preparation for the bride, groom and guests. Outside, everything begins to take shape. Decorations bloom everywhere, chairs are set up and accessories hung. After putting on her beautiful wedding dress with her mom, it's time for Élodie to join Alexandre.

Preceded by her witnesses, Élodie arrives along the estate's huge driveway. Time stands still for Alexandre. The love is palpable. The moment is magical. I hasten to capture this moment of communion between the bride and groom.

A wedding with a sports theme

The day was perfectly orchestrated, with the most beautiful triathlon of their lives taking place in three stages: the wedding ceremony, the vin d'honneur and then the meal. According to Confucius, «A picture is worth a thousand words». Here, then, are images of Élodie and Alexandre's most beautiful day.
