As this is a private location, independent of me, it simply needs to be organized in advance: I need to apply for permission in advance, and then a ticket for €200 is payable directly on the spot at the entrance to the garden. This can be a nice complementary option, but the village of Èze is already more than enough on its own to create a magnificent photo shoot.

From colorful seaside villages to the elegant cities of the Riviera, charming harbors and gentler settings, there are so many beautiful alternatives to choose from. Menton, for a romantic, colourful and easy-going photo session

If you're looking for a very romantic place, closer to the sea, more colorful and easier to get around than Èze, I very often recommend Menton. It's one of the softest and most photogenic towns on the French Riviera, with its pastel facades, its old town, its magnificent light and that very special atmosphere between France and Italy.

Menton works wonderfully well for couples, because it has a real dolce vita atmosphere, very bright, very elegant, but also because it remains very pleasant to live in during the session. It's also an excellent choice for families, with a decor that's more fluid, easier to access, and very pleasant with children. I also often recommend it for pregnancy sessions, precisely because it offers a beautiful Mediterranean setting without the hilly terrain and numerous stairs of Èze.

Villefranche-sur-Mer, for its gentle harbour and perfect family setting

Villefranche-sur-Mer is another great alternative if you like the Riviera spirit, but with a gentler atmosphere, more open to the sea and easier to live with. The village has an incredible charm, with its harbor, colorful facades, narrow streets and that special light reflected everywhere on the water.

For those who dream of the great iconic image of the Riviera, Nice obviously remains a magnificent choice. The Promenade des Anglais, the bay, the sea, Vieux-Nice, the palm trees, the light on the Mediterranean... this is the city that symbolizes the French Riviera, known the world over, and often the natural starting point for a stay on the French Riviera.

Nice is particularly well suited to travelers who want to capture the instantly recognizable image of the Riviera in their photos. It's also a good choice if you're looking for a more accessible session, with plenty of variety between seaside, city and light.
