Nestled in the heart of the town of Opio, Le Pré l'évêque is a beautiful period home, surrounded by a vast garden. I present a new article to look back on the beautiful day of June 2, 2018.

A celebration in Antibes

Back to the past, here we are on a beautiful spring day in the south of France. Everything started at the end of the morning with a civil ceremony. Jade and Thomas were surrounded by their closest family and friends to make their love official in the heart of the city of Antibes, a few steps from the Provencal market.

 

Le Pré l'évêque, a unique wedding venue

Once the ceremony is over, we arrive together at the place of their wedding. With the charm of summer at its tip, the 18th century farmhouse seems frozen in time. The vast meadow of olive trees gives it a hushed and romantic atmosphere.

A magical setting in Opio

The time has come for the bride and groom to get ready in one of the masterly rooms of the domain. Far from each other, separated by a few walls, the bride and groom left each other little attentions. A precious moment that I rushed to photograph.

On all sides, each guest began their preparation and the setting of the decoration, carefully orchestrated by the bride. With my camera, I wandered from room to room looking for sweet moments that the bride and groom could discover after their wedding. The time for me to take photographs of the decoration that was being put in place.

Everything begins to take shape. Decorative elements are placed all over the estate, and flowers are hung on signs. I immortalize the magnificent decoration.

On their side, the bride and groom start to feel the stress rising. The long awaited moment is coming soon: their big moment, the union they have dreamed of, starts in a few minutes.

A country wedding in the gardens of Pré l'évêque

A few minutes later, it is under the olive trees that Thomas welcomes Jade for a secular ceremony filled with emotions. No words can tell this beautiful ceremony, the photographs that you will find below will speak for me.

After this emotional ceremony, the bride and groom and their loved ones gathered in front of the magnificent building to sip lemonade while playing several giant games made by the bride and groom.

For the rest of the festivities, it is under a tree in front of the farmhouse that the bride and groom chose to celebrate their wedding with a meal. The warm atmosphere and the guinguette ambiance seduced everyone. After this good meal, let the party begin! The atmosphere is in full swing, the guests laugh out loud, they offer beautiful speeches and do not stop dancing.
